it's hard to get rid of selfishness for some people. more than others when it comes to relationships. sometimes it's because you deliberately choose not to...and sometimes you're just out of practice because you haven't had to worry about someone else's wants or needs. no siblings, no long history of significant others...nothing. doesn't mean you can't try though. if you're like i am, and haven't been able to be more selfless than selfish...take the time to recognize your behavior and try to focus on it. it may be that one thing that shows the people you love exactly how much you love them.
